Job Description:


Our client is looking for an NVQ Assessor with experience of delivering NVQ’s in Driving Goods Vehicles (DGV) and Road Passenger Transport (RPT) to join their team on a 1 year fixed term contract.

Candidates must have an A1 or D32 / D33 Assessing qualification and experience of delivering the above NVQ’s.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Undertake candidate skills training and development.

- Carry out work based assessment for learners up to NVQ level 3.

- Monitor placements and candidate progress through visits to the workplace up to NVQ level 3.

- Liaise with employers who have candidates within their workplace.

- Attend meetings with the team of workplace assessors.

- Monitor Health & Safety aspects in the workplace.

- Register as an assessor with the appropriate awarding body.

- Liaise with relevant awarding bodies.

- Assisting in the monitoring of the requirements of candidates with special learning needs.

- Ensure that the company’s procedures are adhered to.

- Assist in the development of assessment procedures.

- To participate in the company’s appraisal scheme.

- To actively promote the equality of opportunity for staff and students at all times.

- To undertake any other such duties and responsibilities, which may fall within the purview of such post and grade.

- To ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act.

- To comply with the company’s published policies, in particular those regarding health and safety and equal opportunities.
